Site Master Plan and Winery Remodel

The Fifth Resource Group, LLC. was contacted to develop a master plan as to how Seghesio could most cost effectively meet their production needs for the next decade. This request was prompted by the fire of 1996 in which Seghesio lost their barrel warehouse

The Master Plan resulted with the recommendation of restoring the Old Winery Building into a barrel cellar, with tasting room and offices. The existing building resembled a large old agricultural storage type building. While being of the 1890 era is not designated as a historic building. The Fifth Resource, LLC. has designed a more modern looking winery building typical of many of such uses in Sonoma County and has kept the roof form of the original building.

Unique to this master plan was the site which is in both the City of Healdsburg and County of Sonoma. Implementation of the Master Plan included an annexation agreement with the City of Healdsburg and city water and sewer service
