Cascade Forest Products, which was recently acquired by USA Waste, in 1996 developed a business plan to relocate its operations from Arcata to the Redwood Landfill in Marin, putting them closer to the consumer. The Fifth Resource, LLC., was contracted to develop the master plan and design a building for efficient processing of wood scrap to bark compost for the garden: Take Business Plan and create the Facility Plan.
The Fifth Resource Group, LLC., defined scope of effort required by the Engineering Team and coordinated this team through the development of the construction documentation of this design build project. The Fifth Resource, LLC., was responsible for Process equipment inventory and utility matrix, Developed the design and bid package For the metal Butler Building Design Build Contractor.
Programming Need Definition, Site Master Planning, Entitlements, Recycling Process Design, Shell Building Design and Project Management.
